This page describes how Ledgerless handles data for the current concept build. It is app-owned editable content, not an independent certification.
What we collect
- Account info: email, name, business name.
- Financial data you enter or import: accounts, transactions, employees, tax settings.
- Usage analytics needed to keep the product working.
How we use it
Only to power features you invoke — dashboard calculations, reports, AI categorization, and account access. We do not sell your data.
Where it lives
Data is stored in an isolated database with row-level security so only your signed-in account can read your rows.
Audit trail
Every insert, update, and delete on your financial data is recorded to an audit log visible only to you.
AI processing
When you use AI features (categorization, narrative summaries, hiring assistant), transaction memos and totals are sent to a language model provider to compute the result. Content is not used to train models.
Deleting your data
Email hello@ledgerless.app to request account deletion.
Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA. Report an accessibility barrier to the same email.
