For fleets & platforms
Your drivers don't quit because of pay.
They quit because of tax-season shock.
Hate Ledger is a co-branded financial cockpit for your 1099 drivers. Automatic tax reserve, per-mile net earnings, IRS-ready records — deployed as a benefit under your brand. Zero IT lift. Per-seat pricing.

01 — The retention math
One lost driver costs more than a year of seats for the whole fleet.
The average cost to recruit, onboard, and background-check a replacement 1099 driver: $500–$1,200. First-year attrition among rideshare drivers who don't reserve for taxes: ~68%.
At $9 per driver per month, a fleet of 200 pays $1,800/month. That's less than the fully-loaded cost of losing two drivers.
Financial well-being isn't a nice-to-have. It's the cheapest retention lever you have.
02 — What lands in the driver app
Your logo. Our engine.
Net-per-mile earnings
Drivers see what they actually keep, not just gross. The single number that reframes whether a shift was worth it.
Automatic tax reserve
~25% of every deposit auto-transfers to a locked tax jar. April 15 is boring instead of terrifying.
Deductions on autopilot
Mileage, fuel, phone %, per-diem, platform fees — categorized automatically. Nothing left on the table.
03 — What lands in your ops dashboard
Aggregate insight. Never PII.
Fleet-wide retention indicators
Aggregate cohort views: % of drivers on-track for taxes, average weekly net earnings, top expense categories. Early warning on financial stress before it becomes churn.
Adoption dashboard
See invite → signup → active driver conversion. Weekly cohort digest emailed to your ops lead.
Recruiting differentiator
'Sign with us — free tax reserve + net-earnings dashboard included.' A real edge vs. the fleet down the road.
Contractor-classification safe
Drivers self-serve their own books. Reinforces 1099 status. No employer-controlled tax withholding.
We never expose individual driver transactions, receipts, or balances to the fleet. That trust line is what makes drivers actually use the product — and reinforces 1099 contractor classification for your legal team.
04 — Pricing

05 — Questions we always get
Do drivers pay, or do we?
You choose. Most fleets subsidize the seat as a benefit ($9/driver/mo). Some pass it through and drivers pay directly — we bill them, you don't touch it.
How long to launch?
Pilot fleets are live in ~5 business days. We handle the branded portal setup; you handle the invite email to drivers.
What do you see about our drivers?
Aggregate, cohort-level numbers only. Never individual balances, transactions, or receipts. That firewall is why drivers trust the product.
Does this create employment risk?
The opposite. Drivers self-manage their own books as independent contractors — no employer-controlled withholding. Our legal review is available under NDA.
Trucking-specific features?
Yes: DOT per-diem tracking, IFTA fuel by jurisdiction, ELD-friendly workflow. Rideshare and OTR are both first-class.
